This drama is about Gu Jingche and Jian Yichu, who have been married for five years and share a deeply loving relationship. However, on their wedding anniversary, Gu Jingche discovers that their marriage certificate is fake and unexpectedly witnesses Jian Yichu marrying Li Yunye in Andorra. He learns that she had remained unmarried for five years just to wait for Li Yunye to reach legal age so they could register their marriage. Heartbroken, Gu Jingche leaves, only to be poisoned by Li Yunye and beaten by his men. Gu Jingche changes his name and disappears to a distant place, and when Jian Yichu finally learns the full truth, she is filled with deep regret.
