The Stand-In
The woman and her husband had been childhood sweethearts, but three years later, her marriage license was soaked in coffee. When she went to City Hall, she discovered that her marriage license was fake and that she was still considered unmarried, while her husband was listed as married to someone else. It turned out that her husband had always loved someone else and that she had been a mere replacement. She decided to change her identity and disappear from his life. When her husband finally found her, she was already married to someone else, and he eventually died filled with regret.
